| October was a horrible month for me this year. We lost someone very close and dear. In mist of all the grief, we had to through a checklist of "things to do" and many arrangements. Oddly enough I've done research months ahead and had government official documents ready at hand.
What we didn't do was to purchase casket and land. Luckily our funeral service of choice had everything prepare for us from casket to Chinese traditional funeral rituals for a price of 8.5k. Days later, I came across this: Wal-Mart Funerals? Discount Retailer Selling Coffins; Urns For Burial
In one article it reads, "Wal-Mart wants you dead, so they can sell your loved ones a coffin. You heard right, my Little Crunch Bites. The world’s largest retailer, is getting into the funeral business. Last week, the company began selling caskets and urns on it’s website. The Associated Press writes: Prices range from $999 for models like “Dad Remembered” and “Mom Remembered” steel caskets to the mid-level $1,699 “Executive Privilege.” All are less than $2,000, except for the Sienna Bronze Casket, which sells for $3,199. Wal-Mart will even deliver the coffins directly to the funeral home of your choice within 48 hours of purchase. There is one catch: They won’t accept returns unless the product has been damaged in transit. So make sure Grandpa’s really dead before you order!"
Caskets are seriously half the price than what we paid for in funeral homes!! I suppose they see a market in selling these things down the road. Imagine people testing out the comfort level of these coffins in stores. So it's true, you don't really have to shop anywhere else. In Walmart, you do save money and live better even after you are dead.

| I've recently developed this new fascination for make up and skin care. Actually, I know I should have protected my skin much earlier but I simply had no interest in spending my time touching my face. I'm getting the pay back now - scars, dryness, blotchy skin tones, stubborn breakouts.
so....for the past year and a half, I've been splurging on facial treatments, spas and products (cheap and expensive) in hopes to regain flawless skin. This mean, while I'm waiting for my skin to "heal", I'm also splurging on products to "cover" the "imperfections". Concealers, foundations, powders, eye shadows, and eyeliner later.... how do I get them off my face without stinging?
Johnson's baby oil works magnificent! I just tested it out today on my eye makeup. A few drops on the cotton pad and leave it over my eye for several secs, then gently wipe clean. Let me tell you, it even cleans the most stubborn waterproof mascara. (I'm using Anna Sui waterproof mascara.) I have combination skins, so I had to cleanse my face immediate with face cleanser to avoid oil build up. However it does leave my skin real soft!! I absolutely love it.
Try it! Next to its olive oil alternative, baby oil is real inexpensive. I got mine for $4.65 CDN.

| My phone contract is coming to an end. I'm taking this opportunity to look for a new phone at the same time.
Right now, I'm debating on Samsung Omnia™ i910 or Blackberry storm, which should I get?
What do you recommend??
